Why some slideshows have no soundtrack

For photo slideshows, the soundtrack is offered only when TikTok’s public page for the post includes a readable audio file and its type (M4A or MP3) can be confirmed. If either isn’t the case, only the photos are listed.

Typical reasons

• The slideshow has no sound attached.
• The sound isn’t available in the public post data, for example because of licensing.
• The audio file’s format couldn’t be confirmed, so it isn’t offered with a possibly wrong file type.

The photos themselves are unaffected. See how to save a TikTok photo slideshow.
