Why a TikTok link may fail
Updated
The post isn’t publicly available
Private accounts, followers-only posts, deleted videos and posts blocked in some regions can’t be downloaded. The error says the post couldn’t be found or is private.
The link isn’t a single post
Profile, sound, hashtag, live and search pages aren’t posts. Paste the link of one video or photo post, or use the profile downloader for a creator. See supported TikTok links.
Too many requests
After many requests in a short time you’ll be asked to wait a moment. Try again after a minute.
A temporary problem
“We couldn’t reach the media service” usually clears up by itself. Wait briefly and try again.
